1998:
Surely the only county to have featured a sheep's head on their sleeves, Roscommon used this new design for the 1998 season.
1999-2002:
The sponsorship deal with 747 ended after 2008, but rather than introducing a new strip, the name of new sponsors Ballymore Properties was put on the existing kit.
1999-2002:
As with many other counties, Roscommon used a different jersey during the league around the turn of the millennium, featuring long-sleeves and one of O'Neills' stock designs, in this case the pattern known as Tara.
2002-04:
First worn in the 2002 Connacht Championship, as All-Ireland champions Galway gave a big beating to Connacht champions Roscommon. This O'Neills range, Brandon, was worn by numerous club teams around Ireland in the early 2000s.
2003:
Long-sleeved version, used only in the 2003 league campaign.
2004-07:
In 2004, the Roscommon County Board introduced a new crest and it was decided to bring out a new jersey featuring it. This kit had more white than was usually seen on Rossies jerseys.
2007:
Introduced for the 2007 championship campaign, this design was used for two years but it did not bring Roscommon too much luck as they failed to record a championship victory in that time.
2008:
Numbers added to front but otherwise unchanged.
2009:
With the Ballymore deal ending, the name of new sponsors Sierra appeared on the old shirts for one game, the 2009 FBD League final.
2009:
Introduced for the 2009 league campaign and featuring Sierra's new logo, this was a smart outfit, though the shorts were only used for one year before being replaced for 2010.
2010-11:
Different shorts, alteration to GAA logo.
2012-14:
Fully blue sleeves returned, though designs on front looked a bit superflouous.
2015-:
Hard not to think of Dermot Earley when you see this, but the overall effect is lessened by the absence of the pinstripes from the sleeves. The back features an outline of county Roscommon, showing the borders of each club.
2015:
Ahead of the league game against Galway, Roscommon ran a competition allowing local businesses the chance to be sponsor for a day. The lucky winners of the draw were Casey's Centra supermarket.
2000-02:
A straightforward reversal of the 'league' jersey, it was used against Donegal in 2000 and 2003, and by the Ulster county in 2002 when they forgot to bring a change set for their game with the Rossies.
2004:
Following the same design as the primrose jersey, with the fading effect now blue merging into white, this kit was worn in the league against Donegal in 2004.
2007:
Used against Donegal, identical to goalkeeper strip.
2008:
Front numbers added.
2009:
Reversal of new design, used in two matches against Wexford.
2010:
Identical to 2009 bar GAA logo, worn against Antrim.
2012-:
Matching design of new primrose jersey.
1998:
With the logo of sponsors 747 applied as patches on the jerseys, the two different shades of blue jarred slightly on the goalkeeper's uniform.
1998-2004:
When the need arose, this plain goalkeeper's jersey was worn, used up until 2004.
1999-2002:
Like the outfield jersey, the sponsor was the only change for the 1999 season.
2001:
The short-sleeved version of the regular goalkeeper's jersey was donned by Derek Thompson as Roscommon enjoyed a fine win over Galway at Tuam Stadium in June.
2001:
This white-collar jersey saw action in the Connacht final win over Mayo, ending a 10-year wait for a provincial title
2001:
Third different GK jersey used in '01 championship, worn against Galway in the All-Ireland quarter-final. It had the same sleeves as the outfield jersey.
2002-04:
The regular keeper's kit was one with the same collar and sleeves as the regular kit, with the main part in the usual blue. To the best of our knowledge a short-sleeved version was not worn.
2003:
A lesser-spotted version of the goalkeeper's jersey had a plain collar with no blue stripes.
2004-07:
Essentially a long-sleeved version of the change jersey was worn by Roscommon goalkeepers from 2004-07.
2004-07:
Another edition of the goalkeeper's kit was this, which had a gold collar and blue cuffs.
2007:
Following tradition, the goalkeeper wore the opposite of the outfielders, with that design also used for games where colour clashes arose.
2008:
Numbers added to front.
2009:
In recent years, Roscommon goalkeepers and outfielders have only been seen in short-sleeved jerseys, though the FBD final featured this long-sleeved custodian's top with the Sierra logo.
2009:
New design to match changes to normal kit.
2009:
The change goalkeeper's outfit, worn when the team had to done blue. It had the same sleeves and collar as the blue jersey, with the body now in red, creating a colourful effect overall.
2010:
GAA logo altered slightly.
2010:
'Tidier' version of the change GK shirt, sleeves now red and primrose.
2012-:
Again, a simple reversal of normal shirt, identical to change strip.
2012-:
Red shirt to be used when Roscommon wore blue, as against Armagh in qualifiers.
